Major industrial contracts are decided through a tender/proposal phase in competitive environment. So the signature of a contract between a customer and a contractor is the happy end of a long process with critical steps for the bidding company:

   

Bid management 1

  • Identification of the business opportunity in coherency with the company strategy. At this stage you initiate the project for a new offer to the market. Your business road map shall integrate the definition of this project, with preparation of the offer you will address to your future customers.
  • Active preparation of the offer presenting convincing arguments for a customer: company competencies, technical solution or product definition, industrial organization showing capability to do the work or produce, work plan, commercial frame with attractive price...).
  • Negotiation of the final contract with respect to all facets (technical, industrial, commercial..).

  • The cost drivers with respect to design, development, production, distribution and maintenance.

       The right approach to secure performance 

 

Pending on the integration level of the company versus the final customer Value Chain, the Supply Chain is a major function in the global company operations. Indeed activities which are sub-contracted may represent a significant part of the final product value. Management of the Supply Chain is thus a key lever for company performance.

Supply Chain 1BFurthermore in the rapid moving environment (technologies, short lead time to market, production capabilities...), the Supplier is in some cases a partner to consolidate a leadership position on the market. Consequently the identification and selection of the right suppliers is a strategic activity which shall be tackled at early stage and thus is a competitive factor in a Bid process as introduced in another topic. 

The role of the Supplier may cover several domains: Design, Development, Production and Qualification, even sometimes service to the final customer.... which are expected with a high level of quality. The integration of the Supplier in the Company Value Chain is a sourve of performance which needs adequate processus and tools. Beyond the corresponding standard skills, the relationship quality between the Company and the Supplier is influencing the global performance.

The construction and management of the Supply Chain shall focus the attention of the management and be part of the company strategy. Monitoring and driving the Supply Chain performance, with respect to every criteria (industrial, commercial, relationship...) shall be a mastered process to achieve Excellence.

DynaVisiC has a large experience in this function management which can enable the Supply Chain performance setting, from supplier selection to supplier management, and consolidate this function in the company value chain in particular at the early phase of a project.

Project Management Consolidation

 

       Ensuring we deliver what we promised  

 

The performance of a project or any other type of activity may not achieve as initially planned. Many factors may influence the correct execution of a plan and a "Recovery or Improvement Plan" might be necessary. The proper definition of this plan may need an external view to identify the blockers and suggest enablers to recover.

Recovery planThe methodology consists in analysing the situation by interviewing the different actors of the project, internal teams as well as Suppliers and the Customer if necessary. The interest of an external actor is to collect a more honnest feedback from the different actors without any restraint of hurting anyone; the role of the consultant is to restitute the feedback of this situation in a global view and positive way which could be the basis to find the appropropriate plan to recover or improve.

The definition of the plan itself is done in common with the project team, leaving full flexibility to the team members to propose adequate solutions; this plan includes the corrective actions and the corresponding schedule for situation improvement as well as any necessary resources (technical, financial or humain) to meet the expected goal. This plan is then presented to the company management and customer (if necessary) for final agreement.

DynaVisiC can undertake the function of organizer, coordinator and mediator in some cases to support the definition and implementation of this plan.

Team Engagement Management

 

       Preparing the company future while embarking people

 

Team Engagement Management is a strategic approach in the company aiming at increasing efficient (Performance) through an adequate working mode (operational functions) and a social evolution (mindset) in a wider participation of actors.

 

Change mgtThe target for the company future and the need for change shall be first clearly identified and motivated by the company management; it usually results from the evolution of the company environment (technical, economical, social...) and securing a performance. The main challenge for sucess is to create a culture of engagement enabling anyone to express a view and to adhere to a vision: the communication mode is then key for this project.

The structure of the project is such to prepare the challenge in all dimensions of the company sensitivity and is thus essential; methodologies and tools are actively deployed with a strong interactive role of the company personnel.

Such project can be run with only internal leaders in the company or with the support of external consultants.

DynaVisiC can actively contribute to such project, as external member in the company team bringing a neutral and experienced view, or with partners DynaVisiC can collaborate with.

The context and implementation of such project can be discussed in a first step with the company management through a pre-analysis of the company environment and objectives.
